Wide-angle landscape lens in all-metal garb, available for Sony E and Leica L full-frame bayonet mounts. The model has a focal length of 20 mm and aperture of f/2.0. The optical design of the lens has 13 elements in 11 groups, including one FLD and one SLD lens, as well as three aspherical elements. At the same time, two types of optical lens coatings are used in the model: nanoporous NPC and supermultilayer SMLC.

The stepper autofocus drive is responsible for focusing the lens in automatic mode. Note that the focusing of the model is internal, it is performed from a distance of 15 cm. Sigma 20mm f / 2.0 DG DN has rings for focusing and manually setting the aperture value. Structurally, the width diaphragm consists of 9 blades. The front frame of the lens has a mounting thread for filters with a diameter of 62 mm. The model makes the body of the camera heavier by about 370 g. The dimensions of the lens are 70 mm in diameter and 72.4 mm in length.
