Full-frame ultra-wide with f/1.8 aperture, available on store shelves in versions for all common SLR mounts. Together with a focal length of 14 mm, it allows you to create photos with a very wide angle, while the subject is separated from the background by a noticeable blur. Well, a beautiful bokeh will help to “draw” a 9-blade diaphragm. The optical scheme of the model consists of 16 elements in 11 groups.

It uses three FLD (low dispersion) and four SLD (extra low dispersion) elements to eliminate chromatic aberration. The minimum focus distance for the Sigma 14mm F1.8 DG HSM Art is 27 cm. The ring-type HSM ultrasonic motor helps to focus the lens in automatic mode. The front lens of the model is convex, its diameter is about 80 mm. The aspherical front element ensures minimal distortion. The wide-angle fix turned out to be rather big and heavy — the dimensions of its body are 95x126 mm, and the weight exceeded the mark of 1 kg (1170 g).
