Flagship 14-24mm wide-angle zoom lens with consistently high aperture throughout the f/2.8 zoom range. Designed for use with Sony, Leica and Panasonic full-frame mirrorless cameras. The main distinguishing feature of the character of the model is the outstanding frame resolution with excellent sharpness and the complete absence of chromatic aberrations. To guard against their elimination, six low dispersion lenses have been introduced into the optical scheme of the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN A: one FLD and 5 SLD.

In total, the optical design of the zoom lens has 18 elements in 11 groups. To protect against glare and ghosting, the model uses Nano Porous Coating on the lenses. Also, the lens is notable for fast and silent autofocus from a distance of 28 cm and the presence of a programmable button on the body. The aperture at the width is 11-bladed. The weight of the "carcass" of the camera lens weighs almost 1.1 kg. Suitable for filters with a diameter of 82 mm.
