Videos 8Photos 34 | Outdated Product $2,099.00 The full-frame first-born in the Canon EOS R system mirrorless lineup, which received a second-generation version. The model with the Mark II prefix increased the number of megapixels (from 20 to 24.2 MP) and seriously upgraded autofocus with intelligent algorithms for recognizing objects in the frame. From now on, the camera can shoot bursts at up to 40 fps (when using the electronic shutter) and record 4K video at 60 fps without crop (by oversampling from 6K). The Canon EOS R6 Mark II body supports Canon Log 3 video recording up to 4:2:2 10-bit H.264 or H.265 internally. Photos and videos are stored on SD UHS-II memory cards, for which two slots are provided here. An external recorder is supposed to be able to output video in 6K RAW format. The camera's Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus sy...stem includes 1053 points and covers 100% of the frame. Autofocus is able to detect the heads, faces and eyes of people, animals, vehicles. Also in the mirrorless camera there is a matrix image stabilization system with an efficiency of up to 8 stops of shutter speed or exposure. The model is equipped with a 0.5-inch OLED viewfinder with a high resolution of 3.69 million dots and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as a tilting 3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1.62 million pixels. The camera body is protected from dust and moisture, it is made on a magnesium alloy chassis. A full charge of the model's battery should last approximately 360 shots. In the Body-configuration, the camera is supplied without optics - you will need to take care of purchasing a suitable lens for it in a separate order. |

The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is suitable for both photographers and videographers. Externally, the camera is practically no different from the previous R6 model, but internally it has undergone significant changes.
Full frame sensor
The key innovation in this mirrorless camera is the new 24.2 MP full-frame image sensor. Despite the absence of a multilayer structure and back illumination, the speed of reading data from the matrix is significantly increased. This allows the camera to shoot bursts of photos at up to 40 frames per second when using the electronic shutter, while maintaining full resolution and RAW format. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus now recognizes not only eyes and faces, but also dogs, cats, birds, horses, cars, motorcycles, trains and airplanes in the frame.
Video filming
The camera is capable of shooting video in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second across the entire sensor area. Continuous shooting in this mode is available for up to 40 minutes. The camera supports Canon Log 3 and internal recording in 4:2:2 10-bit formats using H.264 or H.265. When connecting an external recorder, you can record 6K RAW video. Photos and videos are saved to UHS-II class SD memory cards, which have two separate slots.
Stabilization system
The camera is equipped with a matrix image stabilization system, which ensures shooting stability up to 8 stops of shutter speed or exposure. The camera also features a high-resolution OLED viewfinder with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a 3-inch tilting touchscreen display, and a dust- and water-resistant body. The camera's memory buffer capacity may be slightly smaller than advertised, but this may only become apparent during very fast continuous shooting using the electronic shutter. Switching to a mechanical shutter avoids this problem.
