canon's vision of the people's full frame is a compact and lightweight mirrorless camera with a 26.2 MP full-frame image sensor. The camera matrix works out the native range of ISO 100-40000. Using software methods, it seems possible to “raise” the sensitivity bar to a value of 102400 ISO units. The model produces burst photography at a speed of 4 fps with tracking focus and 5 fps with focus on the first frame.

The sensors of the advanced Dual Pixel AF automatic focus system cover 100% of the frame horizontally and about 88% of the image area in the vertical plane. In total, there are 4779 of them in the Canon EOS RP arsenal. Video is recorded on the camera in the maximum resolution of 4K at 25 fps with a bit rate of 120 Mbps and the h.264 codec. The crop factor is 1.6x. There is no matrix image stabilization system on board the mirrorless camera.

The display of the model is touch-sensitive and swivel on all axes. The camera also has a 0.39-inch diagonal OLED viewfinder. With mobile devices from the outside, the camera keeps in touch “over the air” using the built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules. In terms of battery life, the camera shows modest results — 250 shots per battery charge according to CIPA standards. In this configuration, a zoom lens with a universal set of focal lengths of 24-105 mm and a fixed maximum aperture of f / 4 is attached to the “carcass” of the mirrorless camera.
