Affordable, easy-to-use and maximally mobile DSLR, which makes it easy to generate photo and video content. The camera was created with an eye on amateur photographers and beginners who “transplant” to “adult” cameras from digital cameras and smartphones. The Canon EOS 250D kit uses a 24.2 MP image sensor with a crop factor of 1.6x (standard for Canon cropped DSLRs). The DIGIC 8 processor works together with it.
This bundle provides good results when shooting at high ISOs (the native sensitivity range of the matrix is \u200b\u200bmeasured in the range from 100 to 25600 ISO units), and also allows the camera to take “acceleration” in burst mode up to 5 fps with. The nine-point focus system of the camera (used when shooting through the optical viewfinder) is complemented by the proprietary Dual Pixel AF system with 143 phase sensors on the surface of the matrix. Henceforth, it works in conjunction with the eye recognition function. Out of the box, the DSLR comes with an 18-55mm kit lens. In different markets, the model is known under different names: EOS 250D in Europe, EOS Rebel SL3 in the US, EOS Kiss X10 in Japan and EOS 200D II in Southeast Asia.

The addition of Canon miniature DSLRs to the shelf happened in the midst of spring 2019. His name is Canon EOS 250D. This camera dethroned its predecessor in the face of the 200D model.
Focus on compactness
The key bet in the camera is made on compact dimensions (122x93x70 mm) and light weight (449 g including battery). Moreover, on the “carcass” of the camera, it was possible to place a rotary screen with touch control, a hot shoe for connecting peripherals in the manner of an external flash and, of course, the “peephole” of the optical viewfinder. When aiming at a target with the help of the latest SLR, it relies on a 9-point contrast-type autofocus. In LiveView focus mode (i.e., on the screen), the benefits of a 143-point automatic focus system Dual Pixel CMOS AF become available to the user, the sensors of which are located on the plane of the matrix.
Characters
The protagonists of the Canon EOS 250D are a 24.2 MP APS-C image sensor and a DIGIC 8 processor. A similar bunch worked well on board the Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera. In burst mode, the camera churns out 5 frames per second. Moreover, in JPEG format, the series can last indefinitely, but when recording “raw” RAW files, the camera’s memory buffer is enough to save about 13 pictures.
4K video
Video shooting is given to a DSLR in resolution up to 4K (3840x2160 pixels), but with some limitations. So, when recording ultra-high-definition video, the Dual Pixel focus is not available to the operator, plus the video sequence is recorded on a camera with a 1.6x crop. Additionally, the frame size is cut by a digital stub. All of these flaws can be solved by switching to the video mode in FullHD resolution. In general, the Canon EOS 250D is flexible towards new photographers, helping to master the various trends in the photography genre without “dancing with a tambourine”.
