Nikon Z6 II body
Videos 36Photos 43 |
An interchangeable lens mirrorless camera in Nikon's league of full frame models with a full frame image sensor. The camera sensor has a resolution of 26 MP and works in a well-coordinated tandem with two EXPEED 6 image processors at once. What does this give in fact? At a minimum, increasing the rate of burst photography (up to 14 fps), expanding the capacity of the standard memory buffer (designed for 124 RAW files) and faster camera responsiveness in general.
Nikon Z6 II also boasts a 5-axis matrix stabilization system, an advanced 273-point autofocus and video recording in 4K resolution at 60 fps. The footage is now recorded on a duo of memory cards: one slot in the camera design accepts CFexpress / XQD cards, the second — SD UHS-II flash drives. A high-resolution viewfinder (3.69 million pixels), a 3.2-inch touch screen, an information display on the upper end of the body for displaying key shooting parameters have found a home on board the model. For the "carcass" of the camera, weather protection is claimed. In the “Body” configuration, the camera is supplied without an interchangeable lens.

The second generation of the Nikon Z6 full-frame mirrorless camera has received a number of important improvements aimed at overclocking many key features. Which ones? Let's figure it out.
Growth of indicators
The model retained a 26 MP full-frame image sensor and a 5-axis matrix image stabilization system. In this regard, it has no differences from the previous version. But the number of EXPEED 6 processors on board the Nikon Z6 II has grown to two. Their well-coordinated tandem provided an increase in the speed of burst photography up to 14 fps, an increase in the memory buffer (it can hold up to 124 RAW images), plus the camera learned to record 4K video at a frame rate of 60 fps. A video sequence with a high frame rate is written with a crop factor of 1.5x.
Sensitive autofocus
The camera's 273-point autofocus system has become more sensitive, it also aims at the target by the eyes in real time and recognizes animals in the frame. When it comes to ISO, the Nikon Z6 II delivers usable results at ISO values up to 12800. It is suggested to look at the camera through the high-resolution OLED viewfinder window (3.69 million pixels) or by looking at the picture on the 3.2-inch touch screen. Shooting parameters settings are duplicated on the information screen, which is located on the upper end of the model body.
Twin slot
To save the footage, the camera body has two slots for memory cards. One is sharpened for CFexpress and XQD format drives, the second for more familiar UHS-II type SD flash drives. The “carcass” of the mirrorless itself boasts weather protection. The camera will serve as an excellent choice for most types of filming — from reportage photography to high-definition video recording.
