The Canon PowerShot G12 has a special low-light shooting mode without flash — the frame resolution is reduced to 2.5 megapixels, while the ISO value can reach up to 12800.

PowerShot G12 has a high dynamic range mode — the camera takes three pictures with different exposures and glues them together, getting a frame with the same level of illumination throughout the frame.

Video:

Canon PowerShot G12 shoots video in HD quality — 1280x720, 24 fps. A miniature shooting effect is available with intelligent blurring of the space around the centre of the frame.

Interface and control:

The PowerShot G12 has a quick menu that allows you to change basic settings that are not externally controlled.
