I couldn't find good alternatives for this price on X570 with the same specifications. But personally, I encountered one very unpleasant bug, which I will describe in the disadvantages. 1. Timely release of BIOS updates, which is a big plus for AGESA updates. The BIOS itself is quite good. 2. Beautiful. I was looking specifically for a board with white and gray shades. 3. Pretty decent cooling for VRM and SSD M.2. 4. Overall product quality is good, although not excellent. 1. Once every month or two, SATA drives disconnect. Specifically the hard drives, SSDm2 work perfectly. I don't understand the cause, and I haven't found any information or similar issues. All SATA connectors on the motherboard have been checked, and the power supply has been checked - everything is fine. The PC can boot up without one or two hard drives. In BIOS, the drives also disappear and rebooting doesn't help. Only completely cutting power to the board for about 10 minutes helps. After that, the drives are detected and work stably for another month or two. 2. The motherboard lacks a TypeC port for the cable from the front panel of the case. So you can only use the TypeC port on the back of the board; you can't connect the case's TypeC. 3. The software for controlling lighting and fan speeds is very clunky and poorly designed. A good motherboard for the money, suitable for most. A good heatsink for M.2 SSD, with a built-in thermal interface, otherwise the motherboard is just like a motherboard. This seems to be not a strong drawback, but still, the plate with the logo on the radiator has come off, this is not very scary and is almost invisible, but an unpleasant aftertaste remains. ASRock X570 Steel Legend is one of the most affordable motherboards based on the AMD X570 chipset. Naturally, taking into account the fact that all motherboards based on this chipset are not cheap. Supports, as they say, Ryzen 2000 and 3000-series processors out of the box, with the exception of the recently announced ultra-low-cost Athlon 3000G. But it is unlikely that at least someone will decide to buy a $200 motherboard for a $50 processor.

The ASRock X570 Steel Legend power subsystem is ten-phase, with large cooling radiators: eight phases for CPU cores, two more for the memory controller and an optionally integrated graphics accelerator. Video output is offered via HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.2. But of course, it's much cooler to install a discrete graphics card with the latest PCIe 4.0 bus (or even better two in a CrossFireX bundle). The same interface is used for two M.2 connectors with NVMe SSD support up to 64 Gbps.

ASRock X570 Steel Legend supports RAM modules up to 4666+ MHz. However in order to achieve such a frequency, one must be very lucky with a specific instance of the processor and memory modules. Access to the Internet in ASRock X570 Steel Legend is implemented through a gigabit Ethernet controller Intel I211AT.
