Lian Li Lancool 217 black (LAN217X)

The 2025 Midi Tower chassis from Lian Li, continuing the Lancool line and developing the ideas of its predecessor — the 216 model. One of the first details you notice are the wooden inserts on the front panel: dark walnut on the black version and light birch on the white one, giving an uncharacteristic highlight for gaming cases. Behind the perforated panel with a wooden frame are two 170mm front fans on FDB bearings, known for their quiet operation and high air flow of 142.56 CFM each.

In total, five fans of different calibers are pre-installed, including a pair of 120mm above the power supply shroud for cooling the graphics card and a 140mm at the rear for exhaust. The Lian Li Lancool 217 case supports boards up to SSI-EEB up to 330mm wide, and is compatible with motherboards with reverse cable connections — simply remove the drive cage behind the tray for this.

The power supply allows two installation options: standard for models up to 220mm and rotated 90° for compact PSUs up to 180mm, which simplifies cable management. The tool-free front fan mounting allows quick switching between CPU or GPU cooling priority modes. The radiator for liquid cooling is only mounted on top — up to 360mm. Included is a hub for six fans and four ARGB ports, as well as a holder to prevent GPU sagging.
