A high-performance ATX gaming motherboard designed for experienced gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. It is a representative of the Steel Legend line, which includes quite serious motherboards with reinforced clamps for drives, steel clamps for video cards and additional radiators for M.2 drives. Based on the AMD B650E chipset and adapted to work with AMD Ryzen processors with the new generation AMD AM5 socket (note: we are talking about Ryzen processors of the 7000 and 8000 series).
The board has an advanced 19-phase power supply system (16+2+1), providing excellent stability under constant loads and decent overclocking potential even for powerful processors of the Ryzen 9 level. The manufacturer places special emphasis on the use of top Japanese Nichicon 12K Black polymer capacitors. The VRM heatsink helps dissipate heat more efficiently away from critical areas, improving system performance and reliability under high loads.
ASRock B650E STEEL LEGEND WIFI offers three slots for fast NVMe drives: a pair of Hyper M.2 drives operate in PCI-E 4.0 mode, and one Blazing M.2 slot supports PCI-E 5.0 interface and is capable of working with high-speed SSD drives. The layout of RAM modules is represented by four DIMM DDR5 slots with support for multi-channel operating mode and XMP profiles. The maximum declared volume can reach 192 GB, the maximum clock frequency is 7200 MHz.
Thanks to the Dragon RTL8125BG network controller supporting 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, the board provides high-speed and stable network connectivity, which is critical for online competitive gaming fans and streamers. As a bonus, there is a built-in Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless receiver. The board also includes a variety of ports and connectors for connecting external devices, including USB 3.2 Gen1 and Gen2, USB C, as well as connectors for connecting LED strips.
