Compact micro-ATX motherboard from ASRock, tailored for gaming builds with Ryzen 2022 and later processors with Zen4 microarchitecture. The board is equipped with an AMD AM5 processor socket and runs on the B650 chipset, which is usually used in mid-range motherboards. Although according to the passport the model belongs to the ASRock Pro office line, its technical characteristics, built-in overclocking technologies and support for nexgen components make it a rather interesting option for building a compact gaming PC with a Ryzen 7600X-level processor, a mid-range video card a la GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, operational DDR5 memory and extremely fast SSD storage.

The ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi is equipped with a fairly powerful 11-phase power converter (8+2+1 design) for its size, with additional VRM cooling and auxiliary heatsinks for M.2 connectors. Gamers should be interested in support for XMP 3.0, Precision Boost Overdrive and Blazing OC Tuner technologies, which help speed up and optimize overclocking of components, as well as the interaction between them.

Despite belonging to the micro-ATX format, the model boasts a fairly solid set for connecting other components. Next to the processor socket there are DIMM slots in which you can install 4 DDR5 modules with a maximum clock frequency of 7200 MHz and a total capacity of up to 192 GB. Connectors for connecting drives include three high-speed M.2 SSDs (2xPCI-E 4x, 1xPCI-E 2x / M2_1 PCI-E 5.0) and four standard SATA3 connectors if you suddenly need to go classic.

Despite belonging to the Pro line, the board is equipped with reinforced slots for connecting video cards and supports Crossfire mode, which allows you to simultaneously use the power of two video cards. In addition, the board’s equipment includes a 2.5-gigabit Dragon RTL8125BG network card, a built-in wireless receiver (Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2), auxiliary video outputs for connecting a monitor to the processor’s built-in video card (HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4), eight-channel (7.1) audio Realtek ALC897 system, as well as several connectors for LED strips and water pumps.
