In addition, this range is quite noise-resistant, and is also well suited for creating models controlled from a smartphone (see the relevant paragraph) via Wi-Fi. However in terms of bandwidth and communication range, the 2.4 GHz standard is noticeably inferior to 5.8 GHz — however, this becomes noticeable only when performing complex professional tasks, and in most cases, the characteristics of this range are quite sufficient for normal control of a quadcopter.
