Control is either directly through a mobile device using the DJI Fly app with an operational range of up to 50 meters, or with voice commands after activating the phrase "Hey Fly", or even without external devices — it's enough to select the desired mode with a button on the body. The infrared and monocular positioning systems ensure stable hovering in winds up to 8 m/s.

The three batteries provide a total of 54 minutes of flight time, which is enough for a long shooting session, and the built-in support for vertical 1080p 9:16 format eliminates the need for cropping when posting on Instagram or TikTok.
