O4 HD data transmission (up to 10Mbps for DJI RC-N2 and DJI RC 2 controllers, 120ms latency) via 6 2T4R antennas.
This 2023 model became one of the first in DJI's Air lineup to feature a dual main camera system, previously characteristic only of flagship series. The optical block combines a wide-angle module and a telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom, both sensors having identical sizes of 1/1.3" and resolution of 48 MP, ensuring uniform color reproduction and image quality when switching between the focal distances of 24 mm and 70 mm.
Both lenses support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second with extended dynamic range (HDR) and 10-bit D-Log M profiles, as well as vertical shooting in 2.7K resolution. The compact DJI Air 3 (RC-N2) drone is equipped with O4 digital video transmission technology, providing a stable 1080p/60fps link over distances up to 20 km with minimal latency. Flight safety is ensured by an omnidirectional obstacle detection system using a combination of visual and infrared sensors for monitoring the environment in all planes, including blind spots.
Flight time has been increased by 48% compared to the previous generation, reaching 46 minutes, while the device can reach speeds of up to 76 km/h and withstand wind gusts up to 12 m/s. The functionality is expanded with support for Waypoints and the intelligent ActiveTrack 360° mode, with control in this configuration performed through the RC-N2 controller, which requires a smartphone connection for image output.
