Protected case

— a protected case is a special protection that covers not so much the case itself as the screws of the copter. Such protection has the form of characteristic rings or arcs around the screws, most often it is made removable. Its purpose is to prevent the blades from hitting foreign objects during collisions and to prevent damage to both the propellers and these objects. The presence of protection is especially important when using the drone in confined spaces, such as living quarters; and outdoors, where the risk of collisions is minimal, it can be removed, reducing the weight of the machine and improving its aerodynamics.
