It differs from DJI Mini 3 Pro in shooting modes (4K 30 fps vs. 4K 60 fps), no slow-mo, no obstacle sensors (except from below), support for DJI O2 video transmission (vs. DJI O3) with a range of 6 km and 720p quality (instead of 1080p).

An improved model of the third generation of folding small-sized DJI Mini quadcopters with a complete remote control that has its own display (FullHD, 60 fps). It is deservedly one of the best drone options for beginner users. Positioned as a product in the mid-price category in 2022. Unlike the older model of the DJI 3 line, this drone has a somewhat simplified camera (UltraHD/4K 30 fps versus UltraHD/4K 60 fps), the absence of a slow-mo shooting mode, and a much smaller number of sensors for detecting obstacles (only from below) , limited by the DJI O2 video transmission range with a range of 6 km and quality 720p (instead of 1080p).

Despite these differences, the DJI Mini 3 RC quadcopter fully meets the requirements of a novice blogger/videographer/traveler and can become a convenient tool for creating high-quality content. Supports the creation of full UltraHD/4K video and 12 MP photos in JPEG and DNG RAW formats with a resolution of 4000x3000 pixels. To record photo/video files, microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB UHS-I Speed Class 3 (and higher) are used. The built-in motorized stabilizer suppresses shaking, making the videos as smooth as possible. Four lightweight, detachable propellers powered by durable brushless electric motors propel the drone up to speeds of 57.6 km/h.
