Telescopic tube
— the telescopic design of the tube allows you to change its length without disassembling — just move or push the halves of the structure. It provides ease of use: for work, the tube is stretched to its full length, and for storage and transportation it folds quite compactly. In addition, many telescopic mechanisms can be fixed in several intermediate positions — this also allows you to select a specific length for the specific situation.The main disadvantage of "telescopes" is considered to be somewhat lower reliability than that of composite and, especially, non-separable tubes. It is not important for domestic use, but it can be critical when solving professional problems. Therefore, such tubes are most popular nowadays among conventional vacuum cleaners (see "Product type"). But in workshop and industrial models, this feature is very rare.
