Dolby Vision

For more on HDR, see the relevant paragraph, and here we note that Dolby Vision is one of the most advanced formats found in consumer-grade devices. So, it provides a colour depth of 12 bits (against 10 bits in HDR10 and HDR10 +), uses the so-called dynamic metadata (service data about the colour depth that can be written for each individual frame) and allows you to transmit two image options in one video stream at once — HDR and conventional (SDR). At the same time, Dolby Vision is based on the same standard as HDR10, so in modern video technology this format is usually combined with HDR10 or HDR10+.
