Due to such a transmission, the choice of stations is much wider: firstly, the transmissions have no range restrictions, and secondly, in addition to traditional radio stations that duplicate their transmissions on the Internet, there are also a great many specialized resources broadcasting only through the World Wide Web. Also, Internet broadcasting provides extensive additional features — for example, selecting a station from catalogs sorted by genres, languages, etc.
