AV processors
— a distinctive feature of AV processors is the absence of their own built-in audio signal amplifier; accordingly, to work with sound, such a device must be connected to an external amplifier. However, this feature does not mean a complete absence of tools for working with sound — they are present, and sometimes even in a larger volume than in "classic" receivers. Also, AV processors, usually, have the ability to independently play content (tuner, USB port, etc.).
