VGA (D-Sub)

— connector for analogue video transmission, allows you to connect an external screen to personal computer. Considered obsolete, but still widely used; in addition to monitors, it is also found in other technology, in particular LCD TVs and projectors. The maximum resolution supported by this interface is 1280x1024, which allows you to fully work including with HD image (1280x720); however, more advanced high resolution standards for VGA are not available. Also note that monitor with DVI-I interface can be connected to such an output through simple adapter; but the sound is not transmitted through this output.
