— high capacity Blu-ray disc drive. Such discs have capacity of up to 66 GB and are used, in particular, for recording HD video and 3D video. The ability to work with them is relevant mainly for gaming and multimedia PCs. However, nowadays, Blu-ray discs are used extremely rarely — they are quite expensive, while there are more convenient and perfect alternatives (starting from external HDDs and ending with downloading data from the Internet via high-speed channels). Therefore, drives of this type are almost out of use.
