A large and weighty zoom lens with a huge "muzzle", produced in versions for the guards of Canon, Nikon and Sigma SLR cameras. The model is intended for photography at long distances and shooting sports events, which is clearly hinted at by the prefix Sports in the expanded name of the lens. Shooting on a telephoto is carried out in the range of focal lengths from 150 to 600 mm, while the maximum aperture varies between f / 5-6.3.

Of course, the design of such a powerful zoom was not without the presence of an optical stabilizer, which has an accelerometer to improve horizontal and vertical panning. The zoom lock switch allows you to lock the zoom at any selected focal length position. The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Sports OS HSM DG is built using a complex optical formula of 24 elements in 16 groups, plus a 9-bladed aperture lens. The body of the model is weatherproof. For better balance with the "carcass" of the camera, the lens was equipped with a tripod foot. It's no joke, the weight of this hulk is 2860 g.
