At the same time, at long distances, the Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM is darker than at short distances — the maximum aperture of the lens is directly “tied” to the set focal length value and ranges from f / 5 to f / 6.3. The telephoto is offered in a dust- and splash-proof design, and a special water-repellent coating is applied to its front lens (67 mm in diameter) “from the factory”.
