At the end of the last decade, the Razer family of mice was replenished with a new, not quite ordinary Atheris model. This is a light, compact and not too flashy mouse in the style of office manipulators from Logitech, but with a filling from Razer. After a fleeting success, the company released several more variations of Atheris, in fact, launching a new product line. The unspoken slogan of the Atheris series is "not united games".

Representatives of the Atheris series look rather modest, resembling mini-versions of Razer Lancehead mice with its symmetrical "two-handed" design and modest detailing. The weight of the Atheris devices does not exceed 70 grams, the dimensions are about a quarter smaller than those of other manipulators of the company. Bluetooth or a radio receiver is used to connect to a PC or laptop. An important feature of the representatives of this series is the ability to fine-calibrate settings for a specific work surface. You can adjust both the resolution with the polling frequency and the height of separation from the mat.

In the Razer range, this is far from the first office mouse with a racing engine. In order not to get confused with unaccustomed, let's quickly run through the main differences. So, Atheris is an office mouse with an emphasis on miniaturization. Razer Pro Click manipulators are also designed to work in the office, but they are ergonomic. Specialists from Humanscale are responsible for the development and form there. Well, the Orochi models are designed for owners of gaming laptops who need a lightweight, convenient and at the same time universal mouse that can be thrown into a bag pocket and then connected to a stationary PC.
