Vertical mouse

— mice (see the relevant paragraph) of a specific design: the body has a vertical layout, not a horizontal one, hence the name. Because of this, the hand lying on the device is also located not horizontally, but rather vertically (more precisely, at some inclination to the vertical).

This position of the hand is considered more natural and comfortable than the classic one, it reduces the load on the joints and ligaments, thus reducing fatigue and the likelihood of various disorders (especially carpal tunnel syndrome). Vertical models are well suited for those who have to work at the computer for a long time — except that it may take some time to get used to the unusual shape after a traditional mouse.
