It is much less common, but it can be used in all types of computer equipment — from full-sized PCs to ultra-compact laptops. However, mice with this connector, usually, are laptop mice (see "Device"); their convenience lies in the fact that the Type C connection leaves free the usual USB ports that may be required for other peripherals. Also, such a manipulator may be suitable for a tablet or even a smartphone, where Type C is used as a universal connector.
