The Rival family of the Danish manufacturer SteelSeries includes relatively simple and elegant gaming mice with an excellent price-quality ratio. As a basis, they use branded TrueMove sensors with impressive sensitivity and "true tracking" plus branded Kailh switches with an increased pressing resource.

Against the background of other gaming manipulators, Rival models stand out due to the unusual illumination. Rather, it looks completely ordinary, but proprietary customization software allows you to turn RGB backlight into a useful gaming tool. For example, flashing blue can signal a lack of ammo in the game, red indicates a low level of health, and yellow will indicate a new message in Discord.

As for the model range, it has expanded significantly over the past couple of years, thanks to which it can offer interesting solutions for a wide variety of categories of gamers. There are also symmetrical wired mice with a minimalistic design, which, without the backlight turned on, can easily be confused with an office mouse from Logitech. There are also old-school gaming mice a la Rival 600 with a sports car-style design, additional body kits and colorful lighting. And recently, specialized versions of popular mice with wireless lag-free connection have appeared in the series.
