Any owner of the console sooner or later wonders which headphones to buy for it, so as not to annoy the household. Immediately after the announcement of the fifth generation of consoles, the renowned esports brand Razer announced the launch of a new line of Razer Kaira headsets. Unlike other headphones of the company, models from the Kaira line connect to the sound source exclusively over the air (Bluetooth version 5.0 and higher is used) and are friends with the proprietary Xbox communication protocol. That is, this is one of the few headsets that will work out of the box with the Xbox Series X, Series S and earlier consoles from Microsoft.

To connect the headset of the Kaira series, Xbox Wireless technology is used. You can also connect to a PC, but you will need a Bluetooth adapter. The most interesting thing is that they can simultaneously keep in touch with several devices ― for example, with a console and a Windows computer. Or a smartphone and a MacBook. Thus, the owner of Kaira gets a rare opportunity to simultaneously hear both what is happening in the game and what the interlocutor is saying on the phone or in the messenger. Few headsets can do this. And those who can, are expensive.

At the start, Razer rolled out two Kaira models — the regular and the Pro version. Both models use massive 50-inch Triforce titanium-coated diaphragms, a Hyperclear microphone with improved speech capture and noise reduction algorithms, ear pads with streaming weave and foam that remembers the shape of the user's head. The headphones fit securely to the head and reliably isolate from external sounds. To hear something from the side, you need to remove them completely.
