The wireless headset from Razer brand represents the 2025 update in the Barracuda series. One of the main innovations is the customizable 6-zone RGB lighting on the ear cups, highlighting the gaming nature of the device. It noticeably transforms the appearance of the model, making it stand out among others, but does not distract the user during gaming or music listening.
Razer Barracuda X Chroma ensures a high level of comfort in any scenario — whether it's gaming at home or a stroll around the city. The design weighs only 285 grams, which is light for full-sized headphones. The model features a soft and durable headband, swiveling ear cups, and memory foam fabric ear cushions, making the headset comfortable to wear even during prolonged use.
Easy Switching and Good Battery Life
The built-in battery provides up to 70 hours of operation without lighting and about 35 hours with it. Two wireless modes are supported: Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz radio via the included USB-C dongle. The latter ensures minimal latency — about 20 ms. The SmartSwitch Dual Wireless technology allows for instant switching between devices connected via 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth. For example, you can answer a call from your smartphone and then instantly return to gaming on your PC or console. There is also a "Do Not Disturb" mode for automatically rejecting calls and a separate button for manually selecting the audio source.
Balanced Sound Quality
The headset is equipped with 40-mm drivers that provide even sound with a moderate focus on mid frequencies and a slight lack of deep bass. The Razer Audio app offers equalizers and manual settings for individual preferences. On a Windows PC, Surround Sound 7.1 can be activated. The detachable microphone on a flexible arm ensures clear speech transmission and stable operation without interruptions.
