Despite the name Monitor, these are never studio, but rather everyday closed-type overhead headphones that are designed for audiophile trips at home. There are both conventional overhead models and more sophisticated wireless ones with active noise reduction. However, they are loved, first of all, for their famous old-school design in the style of Marshall speakers, combos and amplifiers.

It should be immediately indicated that this line has no direct relation to monitor headphones. After all, their resistance is low, either a mini-jack or Bluetooth is used for connection, and there is not even a 6.3 mm adapter in the box. At the same time, the headphones have their own pronounced sound character (emphasis on the "bottoms" and "middle", the sound is dark), which does not really fit the concept of monitor sound. The Monitor headphones are best revealed paired with a Hi-Fi player and lossless audio that is not squeezed, although they sound very interesting with simple smartphones.

The Marshall model range is not updated very often, and for the entire existence of the line, two generations of headphones have been released under its flags: in 2013, the original Monitor was born, and in 2020 they were replaced by Monitor II headphones. The second generation was equipped with fast charging, active noise reduction and Bluetooth 5 to adequately meet the requirements of the time. In addition, in 2017, the company released a slightly improved version of Monitor I with wireless connectivity.
