Earbuds headphones

Earbuds

— small size earphones, also known as "pills". They are located in the auricles outside the auditory canal, which is how they differ from in-ear headphones of similar size (see the relevant paragraph). They can be supplemented with special devices such as ear or neck attachments (see "Options"), however, most models do not have such devices.

Traditional in-ear headphones are compact, easy to carry and relatively inexpensive, but they are noticeably inferior to in-ear headphones in terms of acoustic characteristics and sound insulation quality. However, the transmission of external sounds can be an advantage — for example, when used on the street and in other conditions where you need to control the situation. But the power and saturation of the sound of most "tablets" is low. However, there are exceptions to this rule: some headphones of this type have an elongated shape, due to which they sit deeper in the ears and are closer to in-ear models in terms of characteristics.
