Cameras with flash
Built-in flash
— the presence of a built-in flash in the camera design. The flash is used to illuminate the scene being shot. The main way to use such backlighting is shooting in low light (at dusk or complete darkness), but it can also be useful in other situations — in particular, against the light, when the subject is shaded. In the absence of a built-in flash, in such situations one would have to use external equipment, which is not always convenient; in addition, the built-in flash is always at hand. On the other hand, the possibilities of such illumination are relatively modest: usually, it is enough for amateur shooting, but for professional tasks it may be necessary to use an external flash or flash system.
