There are no ports for connecting a microphone and headphones. Non-touch display. There is no charger included.

A cropped mirrorless camera from the Sony model portfolio, released contrary to the serial numbering of the “six-thousanders” in 2019. The camera is positioned as a slightly simplified version of the Sony A6400 camera. It cut down the resolution of the OLED viewfinder (1.44 million dots versus 2.36 million), the upper limit of the expandable ISO (51200 units) and video shooting capabilities (at the same time, the maximum resolution for recording videos is still 3840x2160 pixels at 30 fps).

"Under the hood" Sony A6100 body has a 24.2 MP image sensor without a stabilizing pad (the prerogative of matrix stabilization was left to the older model A6600). The camera's autofocus system uses 425 focus sensors in action and catches the subject in 0.02 seconds. Wireless communications in mirrorless equipment are represented by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC modules. For the convenience of sighting from non-standard angles, the model was equipped with a 3-inch diagonal rotary screen. The battery life of the camera is estimated by the ability to shoot about 420 frames on a single charge of a standard battery. In the “body” configuration, the camera is supplied without an interchangeable lens.

Compactness, many lenses, both from Sony and third-party, good tracking focus, fairly logical controls (it didn’t take me long to figure it out after Canon), I was surprised by the automatic mode, I’m used to shooting manually, but I tried the automatic and was very surprised, apparently the camera was in the selection of the script it works completely differently with White Balance... Very good light sensitivity, ISO 6400 is quite possible to work with, 8000 is more difficult, but with straight hands it is possible, well, finally, it has a display that rotates towards itself and a microphone input, I have long dreamed of starting to write blog, but rested on the sound and display location.

I took it as a second camera for travel filming and never regretted it, very tenacious focus, not inferior to its older comrades, the frame is processed amazingly, even in jpeg, recently I completely forgot about the computer, I send the frames to my phone and process them there, I was also pleased with the picture in low lighting conditions, with the correct exposure you can freely shoot 8000 iso (if the frame is intended for social networks)
Speed, weight, got rid of overheating in 4K, a folding display appeared, retained the microphone connector
There is no possibility to use profiles, the battery is not large in volume
