Cameras without AA filter
No AA filter
— the absence on the camera matrix of the so-called anti-moire filter (AA).Moiré — characteristic streak patterns — can appear, for example, in photographs of objects with numerous thin horizontal lines (due to the superposition of these lines on the rows of matrix pixels). The AA filter eliminates this phenomenon, but the downside of this feature is some reduction in image sharpness. Therefore, high-end cameras designed for professional use often have matrices without AA filters; this puts more demands on the photographer's skills, but gives him more options and allows you to achieve higher quality images.
