It's no secret that the market of compact cameras is not going through its best times. In the Sony camera portfolio, the RX series of "elite troops" helps him stay afloat. Premium compact cameras have been delegated from it, which simply cannot be found equal among other systems. Sony RX compacts give photographers the functions and image quality of cameras with interchangeable optics, but at the same time they are often enclosed in stylish cases of "pocket" sizes.

The most extensive line in the family is the RX100 compact series. It receives regular updates with deadlines about once a year, during which the cameras of the detachment are "finished" to the perfect in accordance with modern trends in the photographic equipment industry. The RX100 compacts are equipped with high-power Zeiss optics, inch image sensors, are able to shoot 4K video and are generally suitable for solving a variety of photographic tasks. Their newly—made relative in the line is the Sony ZV-1 camera.

Premium compact cameras from the RX series take excellent photos and shoot video in resolutions up to 4K.

Sony RX10 ultrasounds are assembled in a larger caliber case. They are identical in function to the "hundredth" sub-series, but they can offer shooting in a wide zoom range with a multiplicity of optical approximation up to 25x. Finally, the juice itself is compact cameras of the RX1R subfamily. They use an APS-C matrix and a non-replaceable 35mm f/2 high-speed fixed object from Zeiss. A few photographers can afford a premium RX1R camera due to the sky-high cost of the compact.
