Shooting at long—range distances is the main prerogative of ultrasounds with non-replaceable Panasonic FZ optics. In appearance, they mimic the well-built mirrors. The squad's cameras are equipped with image sensors up to one-inch size and have an impressive multiplicity of optical approximation. It's no joke, individual copies of the ruler have a zoom factor of 60x.

As optics, the cameras of the family use Leica objects with an aperture of f/2.8 at the short end (in the wide-angle zoom position). With a change in the focal length in a larger direction, the aperture, of course, decreases, but its possible disadvantage is designed to compensate for optical stabilization systems. The standard objects in the cameras of the line are able to replace a whole arsenal of interchangeable optics, while providing decent image quality over the entire zoom range.

The FZ-series cameras are designed for photo hunting at close, medium and long-range distances.

When working with the FZ-series cameras, it is proposed to be seen through the "peephole" of the electronic viewfinder or on the screen on a swivel hinge. Wi-Fi and NFC modules are available for remote control in the ultrazums of the line. Also, the emphasis in them is shifted to the possibilities of video recording: the maximum video resolution is stated at the level of 3840x2160, and if necessary, an external microphone can be connected to a good half of the models.
