The MK line from Logitech comes exclusively with mouse+ keyboard kits that connect to a PC, laptop or TV using Bluetooth or a radio module. When compared with a keyboard and mouse bought at random, the advantage of the "2-in-1" kits is their more affordable price, uniform design style, ease of connection and use of a common wireless receiver, which occupies only one USB slot.

All sets from the MK series can be divided into two types. The first includes kits consisting of a classic full-size keyboard with a Num block and a simple mouse with a symmetrical body and a conventional scroll wheel. Popular variants of this format are the MK120, MK270 and MK295 kits. The MK120 costs literally $15 and is a classic workhorse. The MK295 kit is a step higher ― in addition to the block with additional keys, it uses SilentTouch silent switches.

On the back side of the barricades are compact wireless kits a la Logitech MK220, MK240 and MK470, which are usually bought in a pair with a laptop or TV. Most keyboards of this type are devoid of auxiliary keys, due to which their dimensions are significantly smaller than those of traditional keyboards. For example, the MK220 case is 35% smaller than standard keyboards, making it easy to place it on any table.

Then everything depends on the specific kit and the price for it. For example, the Logitech MK220 kit mentioned above belongs to the initial level and does not shine in terms of additional functions. In turn, the MK470 kit will cost 3-4 times cheaper, which is justified by silent switches, support for energy–saving mode and, in general, higher performance quality.
