MX Keys S is an updated version of the MX Keys keyboard with improved switches and backlighting.
High-end wireless keyboard introduced to the market in 2023. This device is primarily designed for comfortable text input. The layout features low-profile membrane keys with a spherical surface for fingertip comfort. The keys are complemented by a scissor mechanism, preventing key tilts. The working lifespan of the membrane switches is 10 million clicks for main keys and 5 million clicks for function keys.
The Logitech MX Keys S membrane keyboard is equipped with light and proximity sensors. These sensors automatically activate the backlighting and adjust brightness during typing. The device uses a built-in 1500 mAh battery. A fully charged battery allows the device to operate autonomously with backlight for 500 hours (approximately 10 days). Without backlight, the model can work autonomously for up to 5 months.
This is an improved version of the MX Keys keyboard. This variant is equipped with a Logi Bolt USB receiver with enhanced security system Security Mode 1 – Security Level 4. The wireless connection is capable of functioning stably and reliably in environments with high interference density. The connection has 37 alternative synchronization channels. An optional wrist rest is available. The proprietary software Logi Options+ is included.

Logitech loved money too much. Perhaps there are, but they do not matter For $100, you get the same quality level as on keyboards for $5-10. This was a shock to me. The only thing I don't understand is how Logitech calculated where the threshold is where they should stop their greed. Why only 4000 UAH for this piece of garbage? Why not, for example, $150 or $200? Moreover, the defect is such that no service would call it a defect. Formally, the keyboard works, but the lower enter key, the one that is always used, catches on the casing and therefore doesn't work properly. Well, if this keyboard cost $5, it wouldn't be surprising that it's catching. But this... |
