The key layout uses custom rounded keys with a low-profile design. It is possible to program the buttons. A universal software utility, Logi Options+, is provided for this purpose. The Low Energy system guarantees incredibly long battery life. When installing factory batteries, the keyboard's autonomy is 36 months. The mouse runs on the factory battery for 24 months. The keyboard requires two AAA batteries and the mouse requires one AA battery. When creating the kit, environmentally friendly plastic is used from recycling.
