It features support for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, which provides excellent compatibility with an impressive fleet of various gadgets and ultra-high data transfer rate in the 5 GHz band. The basis of the hardware configuration of the TP-LINK Archer C9 router was the Broadcom BCM4709 dual-core chipset, operating at a clock frequency of 1 GHz, 2 Broadcom BCM4360 chips are responsible for the operation of the radio channels. Three detachable antennas can work in multi-channel data transmission mode (MIMO 3x3:3), so the transmission rate at 2.4 GHz can reach 600 Mbps.... According to the manufacturer, in the 5 GHz band, data can be transmitted at speeds up to 1300 Mbps, the total theoretical connection speed reaches 1900 Mbps. To obtain a high data transfer rate in fact, client devices with appropriate support for MIMO technology are required. In addition, the router supports progressive Beamforming technology. It automatically determines in which direction the client is located and amplifies the signal going in his direction.
