High-performance stationary wireless router (router) of the AX1800 class with a built-in high-speed 3G / 4G (LTE) modem (requires a SIM card) and support for wireless networks of the advanced Wi-Fi 6 standard. It is positioned as a mid-price product designed to serve the needs of a small office , a small country house, a small cafe or other objects that are deprived of the possibility of a cable connection.
The built-in 3G/4G(LTE) modem will provide Internet access wherever there is a mobile operator coverage. Thanks to the presence of five Gigabit Ethernet ports (1xWAN + 4xLAN), the Asus 4G-AX56 router can support a small local area network and distribute the Internet received via a wired WAN connection to the provider's network at speeds up to 1000 Gbps. In such a situation, switching to the mobile operator's cellular network can be a fallback option in case the incoming cable connection fails. The modem supports 3G/4G/LTE Cat.6 standards, declaring a transfer rate of up to 300/100 Mbps (download/upload). The built-in Wi-Fi module, paired with a powerful processor, operates at 2.4/5 GHz frequencies, supports 2x2 MIMO mode and allows you to support high-speed connection of more than 100 client devices.

The Asus 4G-AX56 balanced router distributes high-speed Internet with efficient redundancy via cellular networks of mobile operators. The device is suitable for serving the needs of a country house, a small office or a small retail outlet in the style of a coffee shop.
WiFi 6 support
The router connects to the provider's network via a gigabit WAN connector, which is adjacent to four bright yellow LAN ports. The device works in wireless mode in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. In the first case, the bandwidth reaches 574 Mbps, in the second - up to 1201 Mbps. And most importantly, the router has acquired support for wireless networks of the advanced Wi-Fi 6 standard. Together with OFDME, MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies, the router provides greater bandwidth and high efficiency in networks with dense traffic.
Mobile networks
In case there is no wired Internet, a modem with support for 3G / 4G / LTE Cat.6 standards is installed “under the hood” of the model. The data exchange rate is declared within the limits of up to 300/100 Mbps (for downloading and uploading, respectively). Switching to work from mobile access networks can be a fallback option in the event of failures in the main cable connection.
Network Security
The router is configured through an intuitive menu of the web interface. A separate line in the model is the ASUS AiProtection integrated network security system, which includes tools for blocking malicious sites, security signatures for protecting personal data, parental control functions, etc. Asus 4G-AX56 is able to establish high-speed and secure connection of more than a hundred client devices.
