A high-performance wireless router that can provide simultaneous operation in dual bands — 2.4 and 5 GHz. This model belongs to the mid-price category and is designed for use at home or in small offices. Thanks to a modern hardware platform, it fully supports the Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard, and the presence of full-duplex antennas makes it possible to maintain stable data transmission speeds of up to 867 Mbps.
The wireless network coverage radius will delight demanding users, and the configuration of the antennas ensures its approximate uniformity in all directions. The use of the 5 GHz band is especially useful when operating the TP-LINK Archer C1200 router in the crowded airspace of apartment buildings, where classic 2.4 GHz routers located in nearby apartments create mutual interference, leading to an overall performance drop.
This model is also equipped with four cable LAN Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-TX ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and one similar incoming WAN port with support for static and dynamic addressing protocols (DHCP), PPPoE, IPsec, L2TP, PPTP. It provides reliable encryption of wireless network traffic and the ability to filter connected devices by MAC address. The device can be managed through a web interface or a special free application for Android and iOS.

Been using it for two years - disappointed, not suitable for gaming as it can randomly reboot at any moment. Very weak antennas, can lose signal completely after just two walls. Initially, firmware updates were coming, but nothing improved for the better. Availability of a 5 GHz network. (Though at this price, it should already be standard) Loads slowly, weak hardware, very weak antennas (the signal drops by half through one wall), the firmware is underdeveloped (restarts itself a couple of times a week at inconvenient moments). Overpriced. use TP-LINK Archer C1200 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
