The second version of the 35mm "Elechka" — a fixed lens of the Luxury series with a red ring on the rim — is even better, even more beautiful. Of the significant innovations implemented on board the lens, number one is the introduction of a special BR element into the optical scheme to even more effectively combat parasitic aberrations. The Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM also received dust and water protection, in parallel with which a special coating was applied to the front lens of the lens, which repels water and dirt.
As usual for a representative of the highest layers of Canon optics, the lens has a 9-blade aperture, due to which the correct rounded shape of objects in the blur zone is achieved.
