Canon 24mm f/1.8 RF IS STM Macro (5668C005)

Wide-angle prime lens for Canon RF bayonet mount. Paired with full-frame mirrorless systems, the model provides shooting at a focal length of 24 mm, and together with APS-C cameras, it transforms into a 35 mm staffer. The relatively high aperture of f/1.8 makes it possible to effectively blur the background in photographs. The autofocusing of the lens is powered by an STM stepper motor.

The model is focused from a distance of 14 cm from the plane of the matrix, while the minimum shooting scale is 1:2. Thanks to this increase, the lens got the Macro tab. Optically, the Canon 24mm f/1.8 RF IS STM Macro is designed according to the formula “11 elements in 9 groups”, and Super Spectra Coating is used as a lens coating in the model. There is also an optical image stabilization system on board with a declared efficiency of up to 5 stops of shutter speed or exposure (together with an in-camera stub, it can be increased to 6.5 stops). In addition to the manual focus ring, the model has an adjustable control ring. The aperture of the fixed lens is 9-bladed. The diameter for the filter on the front rim of the lens is 52 mm.
