An excellent model, but inferior to its cheaper brother 70-200/4, so if you do not need to shoot, for example, concerts in a darker room, I advise you to opt for the four, saving money for something more important. - Versatility, especially on full-frame; - Sharpness at 2.8; - Almost no chromatic aberrations and distortion; - The kit includes a nice case, which can be worn over the shoulder or on the waist; - Provides better bokeh at 70mm due to the 2.8 aperture, compared to its darker counterpart. However, at 200mm, the bokeh at 2.8 and 4 is almost identical; - I consider the price of around 10,500 UAH to be reasonable now. Previously, there was a model with an f/4 aperture and no image stabilization. Switched to 2.8 because the model is more versatile in low-light conditions. However, oddly enough, the cheapest 70-200/4 outperformed the 2.8 model in almost everything except for sheer lens speed. This includes: - Slightly faster and more accurate autofocus; - Minimum shooting distance of 1.2m instead of 1.5m; - Slightly more contrast; - In backlighting, it doesn't catch flares and rainbows, but produces beautiful warm highlights; - Price and weight are half as much. just bought Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L EF USM |
