The model is positioned by the manufacturer as an advanced solution for enthusiasts and affluent gamers who are willing to pay extra for high-level hardware with high power reserves and increased reliability.
Specifically, the series includes models with increased power reserves (850, 1000, and 1200 watts), and the manufacturer claims support for all necessary protection schemes (OVP, OPP, SCP, OTP, OCP, UVP). An additional trump card for the model is the 10-year warranty from the manufacturer. Otherwise, this is the usual 80+ Platinum class ROG PSU with advanced industrial-level circuitry, high-quality Japanese capacitors, ATX 3.1 power standard support, a wide range of input voltages, and the ability to connect graphics cards with a PCIe 5.0 interface.
Large ROG heatsinks cover critical components, providing lower temperature and noise compared to other platinum-level power supplies. The built-in GPU-FIRST voltage detection system with an intelligent voltage stabilizer can, if necessary, increase the voltage supply to the graphics card by nearly one and a half times. The modular cable connection system allows you to connect only the necessary components, maintaining order inside the case.
A low-profile 120mm fan with a ball bearing handles cooling the components of the unit. Thanks to support for 0dB technology, the fan switches to a completely silent semi-passive mode during low and moderate loads. Unlike other PSU of the ROG Strix series (particularly the recent ROG Loki), there is no built-in lighting or OLED display. Key features include a 10-year warranty, a versatile modular cabling system, and support for all necessary protection schemes.

But the build quality is what you'd expect from a cheap product. Even the side panel of the case rattles, with a gap that shouldn't be there.
The fan, even at its lowest speeds, rattles like an old diesel engine.
I took it to the service center... got the response that everything was within normal limits. This is far from my first experience like this with their representatives and service centers. Unfortunately, the more premium the product, the more hassle I have.
