Compact micro-ATX motherboard with 4 slots for DDR4 RAM, support for high-speed PCI-E 4.0 class SSDs and a fairly powerful memory subsystem for the budget segment. ASRock B450M Pro complies with the proprietary Super Alloy concept, which involves the use of high-quality case chokes and solid-state heat-resistant capacitors (note: alas, not Japanese), and the printed circuit board is made using compacted copper conductors and six-layer PCB, which increases the stability of the electrical signal and reduces operating components. In addition to its affordable price, it is distinguished by its modest dimensions and thoughtful layout, which minimizes possible problems during installation.
The gentlemanly set of the board includes 4 slots for DDR4-3200 RAM with support for XMP profiles (maximum capacity 128 GB), two M.2 connectors (1xSATA, 1xPCI-E 4x) and four traditional SATA3 connectors for mounting classic HDDs and SSD drives . The video card slot supports PCI-E third generation bus. Despite its office nature, the board is equipped with connectors for connecting LED strips with support for the Polychrome Sync system and several free areas for mounting water pumps. When using a discrete processor video card, the monitor can be connected directly to the card using a VGA, DVI or HDMI port.
