ASRock B850M-X WiFi R2.0

A compact micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset, designed for systems with Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. The model is part of the upgraded X WiFi series and is aimed at users who want to access current features in a small form factor without paying extra. The ASRock B850M-X WiFi R2.0 uses an AM5 socket and a 6+1+1-phase power subsystem with Dr.MOS components, along with a heatsink on the VRM, allowing it to reliably work with processors up to the Ryzen 7 inclusive.

However, for Ryzen 9 models under extended PBO loads, more advanced solutions with enhanced power systems are recommended. The memory subsystem features two DDR5 slots with a maximum frequency of 8200 MHz and supports XMP/EXPO profiles. The maximum memory capacity can reach 128 GB, which is more than sufficient for 99% of gaming and work configurations, including systems with integrated graphics.

For storage connectivity, the ASRock B850M-X WiFi R2.0 offers two full-sized M.2 slots: one with a PCIe 5.0 interface (when using Ryzen 7000/9000 processors) and one with PCIe 4.0. Both are directly connected to the processor. Additionally, the board includes four classic SATA 6 Gbps ports for affordable HDDs and SSDs. Integrated communications feature a Realtek Dragon RTL8125BG gigabit Ethernet controller with a bandwidth of up to 2.5 Gbps, along with a Wi-Fi 6E module with Bluetooth 5.2 on a MediaTek chip. The rear panel includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting monitors to the built-in GPU, a variety of USB ports, Wi-Fi antenna connectors, and a Flashback button for updating the BIOS without installing a processor.
